CALCULATOR COVERAGE
Soybeans.
The calculator uses the same preliminary engine as our software. Other crops can be submitted for a manual property review. A crop label does not establish qualification or recoverable value.
Crop context comes from USDA NASS. Review priorities are Ash & Acre screening judgments; the universities and USDA do not endorse this service.

Start with an illustrative nutrient-value screen, then develop the field evidence needed to evaluate an attributable residual amount above crop requirements.
Listed calculator crops are available now. Other crops need individual agronomic review.
After core property facts arrive. Sampling, laboratory work, agronomy and tax review determine the full case schedule.
Field history, prior applications, acquisition documents and parcel soil evidence support the investigation.
WISCONSIN OPPORTUNITY PROFILES
These are reasons to investigate a property. Final qualification and value depend on its evidence.
Pair field soil tests with application records and distinguish grain harvest from straw removal.
Separate silage removal, manure inputs and alfalfa credits through manual parcel review.
Intensive field systems may warrant review when acquisition and nutrient records are available.
Bed management, water conditions and crop-specific agronomy require individual review; no generic calculator amount.
EVIDENCE TO GATHER
Deed and purchase records, field boundaries, acquisition date, prior crop and fertilizer history, manure and irrigation records, soil tests and actual harvest/removal information.
Dairy manure and legume credits can materially change nutrient attribution. Native supply and manure cannot simply be counted again as purchased residual fertilizer.
Our agronomist evaluates the attributable residual supply. Our consulting CPA and your CPA determine any supported allocation, recovery method and filing amount.FROM POTENTIAL TO SUPPORT
The calculator illustrates potential nutrient value using limited property facts and explicit crop scenarios. It does not measure your soil or automatically subtract a verified crop baseline. Professional review establishes crop requirements, natural supply, prior-owner attribution and what was present at acquisition.
Crop uptake and nutrient losses can reduce remaining supply over time. The screening engine uses provisional carryover assumptions; parcel evidence determines the actual depletion pattern. Your CPA determines whether and how any supported amount is recoverable. The recoverable portion may be lower or zero.
Public recommendations provide crop context; they do not measure acquisition-date residual fertilizer. No automatic county or irrigation multiplier applies.
